You Can Learn From the Tabloids

They Build Them Up to Knock Them Down

Do you ever notice how the tabloids show certain people "on the rise" in a very positive light with great pictures and glowing headlines. Then, once those people are on top and very famous, all of a sudden all the pictures and headlines are "scandalous" and unflattering?

They build them up to knock them down. After they knock them down, then they start building them up again. I see this with Jennifer Aniston right now. She was the sweetheart, then she got married to Brad, then they got divoreced, and now she's coming back with her new life and new boyfriend.

Mind you, I don't read these magazines, I just look at the headlines when I'm in the grocery line.

Your muscles are similar. To build them up, they need to be broken down. You do that by asking more of them than they are used to. Don't ask too much, because then they'll end up deciding to move to Montana and become a housewife, escaping the limelight for good. Don't ask too little, or they'll never be willing to do what it takes to finally make it on the cover of Cosmopolitan.

Break them down, build them up, break them down, build them up, and on and on.

If you do it right, they will get stronger and stronger!
